vote_lede_template.jpgToday’s the day, eager voters: head to the Department of Elections on the ground floor of City Hall and you can cast your vote in the November election.

Voting hours run from 8am to 5pm on weekdays and 10am-4pm the last two weekends leading up to the election. That’s October 27-28 and November 3-4 if you don’t have your calendar handy.

If you prefer to vote by mail, your ballot is officially on its way. The Department’s sent over 200,000 vote-by-mail ballots in addition to already sending Voter Information Pamphlets to all currently registered voters.

If you wish to permanently vote by mail but haven’t done it before, you can either fill out an application online, complete and send the application from your Voter Information Pamphlet, or send a letter with your printed name, signature, date of birth, telephone number, residential address, and/or mailing address to the Department of Elections.

Note that the Department must receive this information by Tuesday, October 30 at 5pm.

For more information on early voting, voting by mail, and to get a copy of the Voter Information Pamphlet, visit sfelections.org/toolkit or call (415) 554-4375
