police-light-bar1.jpgA man was ejected from his motorcycle after colliding with a car in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood this morning, a police sergeant said.

Police responded to a call at 10:50 a.m. about an accident involving a Toyota sedan and a Honda motorcycle near Filbert and Powell streets, Sgt. Michael Andraychak said.

Andraychak said it appears the driver of the Toyota, a 50-year-old Redding woman, had turned into the motorcycle’s path. Both drivers were heading east on Filbert when the accident happened, he said.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening, Andraychak said.

Andraychak said it does not appear alcohol or drugs were involved.
