From 8 p.m., Friday, to 5 a.m., Monday, the SFMTA will install new track switches on the L Taraval Line between 22nd and 23rd avenues and at 35th Avenue. The construction will require partial lane closures in both directions on Taraval Street at these locations, the removal of a few parking spaces in the construction zone nearby and the use of bus shuttles between West Portal Station and the Zoo Loop. The inbound (eastbound) stops on Ulloa Street at both 15th and Forest Side avenues will be missed.

The Color Run
On Saturday The Color Run, a 5K run inside the parking lot of Candlestick Park will take place beginning at 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Bill Walsh Drive between Ingerson and Gilman avenues will be closed. There will be barricades to separate runners on Bill Walsh Drive. Runners will be in the two easternmost lanes.

No Muni service will be affected.

AIDS Walk
On Sunday the annual AIDS Walk will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Golden Gate Park.

The route will be entirely within the park and take participants from Sharon Meadow, west on John F. Kennedy Drive, south on Transverse Drive, west on Martin Luther King Drive, east on John F. Kennedy Drive and back to Sharon Meadow.

The north and south park entrances will be closed, except Park Presidio Boulevard and Crossover Drive. Closures for the AIDS Walk are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

An estimate of 15,000 participants is anticipated to attend this event.

The 44 O’Shaughnessy Muni route will be affected.

Soccer Game at Candlestick Park
On Sunday a professional soccer game between Monarcas Morelia and Club America will take place at Candlestick Park. The game will start at 3 p.m. and will finish at 5 p.m. Parking lot will open at 11 a.m.; south gates to the plaza will open at noon for the Tecate Festival; and the stadium will open at 2 p.m. An attendance of 35,000 participants is expected.

Motorists should expect delays on all bridges and freeways leading into San Francisco for at least two hours before the start of the game and for at least two hours after the end of the game.

SFMTA personnel will be present to monitor traffic around the event area.
