policeblotter_sfa.jpgVandals have attacked a city communications facility on Twin Peaks, cutting several wires, San Francisco police said today.

The vandalism on Christmas Tree Road was reported just after 9 a.m., according to Sgt. Michael Andraychak.

It appears that unknown suspects entered a city communications facility and cut several wires, but did not steal any wiring or other items, Andraychak said.

The vandalism did not affect any essential services, but because it involved the city radio network, the FBI was notified.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact San Francisco police at (415) 575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 with a message starting with SFPD.
