Police are investigating a shooting in San Francisco’s Mission District late Friday night that left a victim fighting for his life, police said.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired at the corner of 16th and Albion streets at 11:37 p.m.
They found the male victim there suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the incident; further information about the victim and any possible suspects were not immediately available.
