shooting_nighttime.jpgA man suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood early Sunday morning, police said.

The shooting was reported at 3:14 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Missouri Street and Turner Terrace, near the Potrero Hill Playground.

The 23-year-old victim and his friends were dropping someone off when they heard gunshots, according to police.

The driver of the car made a U-turn to get out of the area when the suspect fired another shot, which shattered the rear window and struck the victim, police said.

The victim was driven to a hospital, according to police.
