muni_driver.jpgA San Francisco Municipal Railway train and a truck collided in the city’s Mission Bay neighborhood this morning, a Muni spokesman said.

The accident, which involved a K/T-Third line train, was reported at 8:40 a.m. at Third and Channel streets, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.

The truck apparently made a left turn in front of the train and was struck, Rose said.

A person inside the truck was taken to a hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries, he said.

No one on the Muni train was injured, according to Rose.

The incident is only affecting outbound service on the K/T line, and bus shuttles have been set up while the crash site is cleared, Rose said.
