policeblotter_sfa.jpgA woman was pushed to the ground and robbed in San Francisco’s Portola neighborhood on Thursday morning, police said.

The robbery was reported at about 7:25 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Dwight Street.

The 58-year-old victim was walking along the street when a suspect approached and pushed her to the ground, then ripped a tote bag away from her, according to police.

The suspect then got into a silver van and fled, The van was last seen traveling north on Girard Street, police said.

The woman was not injured during the robbery. She lost a cellphone, cash, credit cards and other items that were in the bag, according to police.
