The Occupy SF encampment at Justin Herman Plaza along San Francisco’s Embarcadero did not see any police action this morning although an ancillary camp down the block on Market Street was dismantled and some occupants may have been arrested, according to a footage from a livestream video of the protest camp this morning.
A “bridge camp” that had been set up on Friday in the first block of Market Street in front of a Bank of America was blocking the sidewalk with tents and police arrived after 1:30 a.m. this morning to dismantle those tents and remove occupants, according to the video stream.
The videographer filming from a cellular device said the “main camp” in front of 101 Market St. at the Federal Reserve building is intact and that the “big camp” at Justin Herman Plaza at the foot of Market Street also was left standing after police arrived, as of 2:30 a.m.
SFPD captain sez they’re not moving in on main #occupysf camp, just cleared about 15 tents from sidewalk. “We’re going home now.”
