As we’ve previously reported, a 40′ sculpture of a dancing woman recently made it from dazzling the desert at Burning Man to its current resting place on Treasure Island. Created by artist Marco Cochrane, the sculpture is of a naked woman dancing, with one foot on the ground and both hands in the air and adorned with 1,000 LEDs, all controlled by a customized iPad app.

Speaking of technology, as Laughing Squid reports, there’s now an app for Bliss Dance, letting users interact with the piece in the same ways Cochrane can on his iPad.

The $1.99 app gives users a chance to control the lights on Bliss Dance while standing near it during “select events.”

Have you tried the app? Is it worth the $1.99?
