Konstantin Solodukhin, 22, was arrested last Wednesday in connection with the Sept. 17 death of 22-year-old Edgar Yegiyan, who was shot near 35th Avenue and Rivera Street, police said.

Police said Yegiyan, a San Francisco resident, was standing in front of a friend’s house smoking a cigarette when he was shot several times with an assault rifle.

Solodukhin was arrested at San Francisco International Airport, hours before he was set to leave on a one-way international flight, according to police.

Homicide investigators also arrested Oren Zakhrabov, 22, near his home in the city’s South of Market neighborhood.

Zakhrabov was arraigned Friday on charges of being an accessory to the crime after the fact and pleaded not guilty, district attorney’s spokesman Omid Talai said.

Solodukhin was also set to be arraigned Friday on murder charges, but the hearing was continued to Tuesday, Talai said.
