police-light-bar1.jpgShots were fired at CHP officers during a car chase that ended when the suspect’s vehicle crashed near the TransAmerica Building in San Francisco late Saturday, San Francisco police said.

Police received a call at 11:30 p.m. of an unknown number of shots fired at CHP vehicles during a car chase that spread to San Francisco streets.

The suspect’s vehicle crashed half a block away from the TransAmerica Building and the suspect then fled on foot. Officers have set up a perimeter.

The suspect is still outstanding and no one is in custody, police said.
