sfpd_cityhall.jpgSixty wanted suspects were arrested during a 10-hour police enforcement operation in San Francisco on Wednesday, police said.

Officers arrested suspects wanted for 47 felonies and 13 misdemeanors including suspected sexual predators, persons wanted for assaults with deadly weapons and many parolees at large, police said.

The operation was conducted with officers from all ten police stations in the city and the department’s Violence Reduction Team. Police also worked with the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department, U.S. Marshals Service, state parole agents and San Francisco Adult Probation Department officers.

Police officials said police Chief Greg Suhr will continue to conduct similar operations to keep parolees and wanted fugitives off city streets.
