Obama4-21-11.jpgPresident Obama will make a brief visit to the Bay Area on Tuesday to attend an afternoon campaign fundraiser in San Francisco.

Air Force One is scheduled to land at San Francisco International Airport early Tuesday afternoon.

The president will attend a lunch fundraiser at the W Hotel in San Francisco, a campaign official said.

Ticket prices for the event–which will feature a performance by Jack Johnson–start at $5,000 and roughly 200 people are set to attend, the official said.

Obama will then depart from SFO less than three hours after arriving.

The anti-war group The World Can’t Wait is planning to rally outside of the W Hotel on Tuesday to protest U.S. involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan and the Obama administration’s funding of other military operations in the Middle East, according to the group.
