flu.jpgIt’s official: now that the weather’s gotten dreary as all hell, it’s flu season, which means that it’s also flu shot season.

Since the CDC recommends that everyone 6 months of age and older (even you, reluctant reader!) should get a flu vaccine ever year, what better time to do so then right at the onset of the season of sick?

And now you can’t say you don’t know where to go: 211, the Bay Area’s official flu shot (and more) number, has all the answers you need on where to get a flu shot in over 150 languages.

Just dial 211 or (800) 273-6222 and you’ll get the nearest location and hours to get your very own flu shot. Those who are hearing impaired can call (415) 808-4440 (TTY) or 711.

The 211 service is available 24 hours in nine different Bay Area counties, including SF. For more information, visit www.211BayArea.org.
