16th Annual Alcatraz Invitational Swim
On Saturday the swim will begin at 9:15 a.m. from Alcatraz Island to the South End Rowing Club at Hyde Street Pier.

Jefferson Street between Hyde Street and westerly terminus will be closed from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m.

No Muni service will be affected.

Z Space Special Event
On Saturday and Sunday YBCA and Z Space will present Big Art Group’s “The People” at 8 p.m. both days.

Florida Street between 17th and Mariposa streets will be closed from 4 p.m. to midnight each day.

No Muni service will be affected.

Rock Make Street Festival
On Saturday the 4th annual Rock Make Street Festival will take place in the Mission District from noon to 7 p.m.

The following street closures will be required from 5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.:

Treat Avenue between 17th and 18th streets
18th Street between Harrison and Folsom streets

No Muni service will be affected.

Cal Golden Bears Football Game
On Saturday the Cal Bears will play a football game against Presbyterian Blue Hose at AT&T Park. The game will begin at 2:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect delays on all bridges and freeways leading into San Francisco for at least two hours before the start of the game and for at least two hours after the end of the game. Fans attending the games are encouraged to take public transportation.

On Saturday Muni customers may purchase their fare in advance. SFMTA staff will sell Muni fares from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Embarcadero Metro Station.

The eighth of nine Sunday Streets events will be held this Sunday in Chinatown and North Beach neighborhoods. This event covers a 1.27-mile route that connects Bush Street to Coit Tower. The route will be available for recreational activities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free to all participants.

Bicycle parking will be available on the lower level of Portsmouth Square parking garage.

The following street closures will be required from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:

· Grant Avenue between Bush and Lombard streets
· Washington Street between Walter U Lum Place and Grant Avenue
· Lombard Street between Grant Avenue and Telegraph Hill Boulevard
· Telegraph Hill Boulevard between Lombard Street and Coit Tower
· Intersections: Commercial, Washington and Jackson streets at Grant Avenue
· Jack Kerouac Alley, Green and Filbert streets at Grant Avenue

Cross Traffic will be allowed on Pine, California, Sacramento, Clay, Pacific, Broadway, Columbus, Union and Greenwich streets at Grant Avenue.

Traffic will be controlled by Parking Control Officers and San Francisco police officers.

No Parking/Stopping on the following streets Sunday, 2 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Grant Ave from Bush to Broadway
Waverly Place from Sacramento to Washington
Washington Street from Walter E Lum to Grant Ave

No Parking/Stopping on the following streets Sunday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Grant Ave from Broadway to Lombard
Lombard from Grant to Telegraph Hill Blvd
Telegraph Hill Boulevard from Lombard to Coit Tower (including the parking lot)

The Vallejo Street garage at 766 Vallejo Street will offer a special event all-day rate of $12 per entry between 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The following Muni route will be affected:

· 39 Coit

49ers Football Game
On Sunday the San Francisco 49ers will host their second home game of the regular season against the Dallas Cowboys starting at 1:05 p.m. at Candlestick Park.

Motorists should expect delays on all bridges and freeways leading into San Francisco for at least two hours before the start of the game and for at least two hours after the end of the game. Fans attending the games are encouraged to take public transportation. Muni offers several ways to get to Candlestick Park from locations throughout San Francisco. There are four Muni Express routes and two Shuttles.

The Muni Express route is Special Event Fare Service
Adult fare: $12 roundtrip
Youth/Senior/Disabled fare: $10 roundtrip
Muni monthly pass, Passport or CityPass Special Event Add-on fare: $8 roundtrip (adult and discount pass holders)

The Candlestick Shuttles are regular fare service, $2 adult per trip and $.75 for youth/senior/disabled per trip.

In order for Clipper customers with a monthly pass to obtain the add-on fare discount, at least $8 in cash value must be loaded to their Clipper cards prior to boarding the special event Muni service.

For service to and from the game, T Third customers should transfer at the Gilman/Paul station to the 87 Candlestick Shuttle, which operates directly between the station and Candlestick Park.

On Sunday, Muni customers may purchase their fare in advance. SFMTA staff will sell Muni fares from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the following locations:

· Balboa Park BART Station
· Sutter Street/Sansome Street

Pre-game Service:
· 75X Candlestick Express – from Balboa Park BART
· 77X Candlestick Express – from California and Van Ness
· 78X Candlestick Express – from California and Funston
· 79X Candlestick Express – from Sutter and Sansome
· 86 Candlestick Shuttle – from Bacon and San Bruno
· 87 Candlestick Shuttle – from Third Street and Gillman, T Third Station

Post-game Service:
· 75X Candlestick Express – to Balboa Park BART
· 77X Candlestick Express – to Van Ness and North Point
· 78X Candlestick Express – to California and Funston
· 79X Candlestick Express – to Kearny and Sutter
· 86 Candlestick Shuttle – to Bacon and San Bruno
· 87 Candlestick Shuttle – to Third Street and Gillman, T Third Station
