“Witnessed a fight on Muni today” tweeted local reporter/editor Dan McMenamin “not quite newsworthy but definitely Youtube worthy.”

SF news fans might recognize the name Dan McMenamin, as he’s a Bay City News staffer who churns out many of the stories that we run on the Appeal, such as today’s “Civic Center Hotel Employee Left With Life-Threatening Injuries After Beating” and “SOMA Shooting Injures One.”

Given all that, I’m reluctant to question what he deems newsworthy, but, hey, it’s Friday.

Warning: both videos contain profanity and the second one has a butt. Don’t get fired for watching these!

According to McMenamin, “Man and girl start arguing on a Muni 8X bus because she didn’t like him singing loudly…she and her friends end up trying to walk out of the bus but he dumps a cup full of some liquid on them.”

“The woman who got poured on came back on the bus from another door then sprayed the guy with mace…he stumbles around as his pants start falling down. Eventually everyone on the bus had to clear out because the pepper spray spread.”
