sfpd_squad.jpgA woman who had just arrived to her home in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood opened a closet door to find a burglar inside Wednesday night, police said.

The 22-year-old victim had arrived around 9 p.m. at her home in the 100 block of McAllister Street.

After she saw the suspect in her closet, the woman ran outside and called police.

The burglar fled before officers arrived and apparently took some of the woman’s lingerie, as well, according to police.

The suspect, a man in his 20s, had not been found as of this morning.

Anyone with information about the burglary is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
