sfpd_arrestcuffs.jpgThree people were arrested after a home invasion robbery in San Francisco’s Parkside neighborhood late Friday night was thwarted by a neighbor who called police.

The robbery was reported shortly before midnight Friday at a home in the 2100 block of Vicente Street.

Two residents, a 71-year-old man and 66-year-old woman, had just arrived at their home when they heard a crash in the front of the house and saw two people enter through the front door, according to police.

One held a gun to the man’s head and demanded money, and he complied, police said.

A neighbor heard the commotion and called police, who responded and arrested the intruders, men ages 31 and 33, as well as a 22-year-old woman who was in the alleged getaway car, a blue Honda Civic.

The names of the suspects were not immediately available this morning.

The victims were not injured in the robbery.
