Muni service will follow a Sunday schedule on Memorial Day, Monday.

Parking meters and seven day street sweeping will be enforced citywide on the holiday. Commuter tow away, residential parking permits and Monday-Friday street sweeping will not be enforced.

Meters on SF Port property are enforced seven days per week throughout the year. Hazards are always subject to citation and towing.

Critical Mass
On Friday at 6 p.m., the Critical Mass bicycle rides will begin at Justin Herman Plaza.

There will be heavy traffic in the area. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time.

Carnaval Festival
The Carnaval Festival will span two days, Saturday and Sunday, on Harrison Street from 16th Street to 23rd Street. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

The following closures will begin at 10 p.m., Friday and continue through 2 a.m., Monday:

· Harrison Street from 16th Street to 23rd Street
· 17th Street from Treat Avenue to Alabama Street
· 18th Street from Treat Avenue to Alabama Street
· 19th Street from Treat Avenue to Alabama Street
· 20th Street from Treat Avenue to Alabama Street
· Mariposa Street from Alabama Street to Harrison Street
· Mistral Street from Harrison Street to Treat Avenue
· Intersections: Harrison Street at Mariposa Street, 18th Street, 19th Street, Mistral Street and 20th Street

Carnaval Parade
On Sunday, the Carnaval Parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. The staging area for the parade will be on Bryant Street between 18th and Cesar Chavez streets. Assembly for the parade will begin at 5 a.m. and the parade will finish by 4 p.m.

The parade will proceed west on 24th Street from Harrison, north on Mission and east on 17th Street to the dispersal area along 17th Street, South Van Ness Avenue and 15th Street.

Streets will be opened up to traffic after the parade passes.

No public parking will be available for this event. Event and parade participants are encouraged to take public transportation.

· 27 Bryant
· 33 Stanyan
· 48 Quintara
· 49 Van Ness/Mission
· 67 Bernal Heights
