sfo03.jpgSpectators are invited to watch the world’s largest passenger jet debut at the San Francisco International Airport Tuesday morning, an airport spokesman said.

A plane spotting party is planned at Bayfront Park in Millbrae at 11 a.m. to welcome an Airbus A380, operated by Lufthansa German Airlines.

The Airbus A380 will be the first jet of its kind to have regularly scheduled service at SFO and will fly between Frankfurt, Germany and San Francisco, according to the airport.

The launch party will include games, giveaways and a raffle to win two free tickets for travel aboard the Airbus A30. A complimentary lunch will be provided to the first 100 attendees who register for the ticket drawing, airport officials said.

Viewers attending the plane spotting party should gather at Bayfront Park, on the corner of Millbrae Avenue and Old Bayshore Highway.
