rob-lowe-cover.jpgGood news for those of you for whom actor Rob Lowe’s Dorian Grayesque Vanity Fair cover was not quite enough — the 47-year-old (!) former Brat-Packer will be punching the clock in San Francisco next month.

The Chron’s Matier and Ross deviates into Tiger Beat territory to report that Knife Fight, a “political thriller” starring Lowe will be shooting throughout the city in June.

According to Deadline, the Bill Guttentag-helmed Knife Fight “deals with the dark side of political operatives.”

Lowe will reportedly play “a hotshot political crisis specialist who works outside the rules during a tough electoral campaign.”

Yeah, I think SF would be a believable setting for that, don’t you?

The movie is slated to be released in October, 2012 for the Presidential Election. Until then, I urge you not to stalk the former teen-heartthrob, but do let us know if you see him around town.
