police-light-bar1.jpgA motorcyclist who was killed in a crash early Sunday morning in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset neighborhood has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as Ryan Sitko.

Sitko, a 23-year-old San Francisco resident, was riding a motorcycle east on Judah Street at about 1:40 a.m. Sunday when he struck a center median at 39th Avenue and flipped over, police said. (As previously noted, there’s not a median at 39th Ave — there is, however, a raised Muni stop at 40th. Calls to SFPD to clarify this have not been returned at publication time –EB)

He slid under a parked car and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, according to police.
