easter.jpgGlide Memorial Church in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood expects to feed thousands of homeless and underserved people today following Easter services, organizers said.

Members of Glide, located at 330 Ellis St., will be serving a free hot breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and a fried chicken dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The church will also be offering three Easter celebrations throughout the day, beginning with “Tell Your Story” at 7 a.m. Additional celebrations at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. will feature the Glide Ensemble and Change Band, organizers said.

Members of the homeless community are also expected to sing freedom songs at today’s celebrations.
