pepper-spray.jpgA man with quite the passion for fashion robbed a high-end store in Union Square this week. The suspect was so fierce, he even pepper-sprayed a clerk in his pursuit of style.

According to SFPD, at 11:44 AM Wednesday, a 40something male fashionista parked a “silver Toyota with paper plates” in front of a store on the swanky stretch of Geary between Grant and Stockton.

He then went into the store, pepper sprayed the 27-year-old female clerk in the eyes “then grabbed several racks of clothing, ran out of the store, and fled.”

The Ex, more specifically, said the stolen items in question were “several handbags.” Because a guy wants a variety of ways to carry his pepper spray and Toyota keys.

The clerk was treated at the scene, and is going to be OK. Witnesses say the man was wearing a baseball cap, hooded sweatshirt with large logo on the back, and dark jeans.

There have been no reports on whether or not he was color-coordinated or stylish. Some speculate, however, that the handbags had to have matched that outfit.
