ford_explorer.jpgSFPD is apparently stumped in their search for a looking for a hit-and-run driver they say seriously injured a pedestrian last Friday, and now they need your help.

In a statement sent to media, the police urge anyone who might have witnessed the accident to contact Inspector Dean Taylor of the Hit and Run Detail at 415-553-1215.

According to SFPD, a silver Ford Explorer with a possible California license plate of 5JTJ3_4, driven by a 20-25 year old Hispanic male with a scruffy beard hit a pedestrian last Friday at 3:06pm at Market St & O’Farrell St.

The driver did left the pedestrian with life-threatening injuries, and did not stop, instead traveling westbound down Market Street toward Powell Street.
