11:08 PM: We’re getting very close to the end, my friends — with 581 out of 590 precincts (98.47%) reporting, for these close races it might be a bit before we have a clear winner.
For example, in D10 there are a ton of candidates, all of whom are getting at least a piece of the voting pie. Who’ll win? It’s too soon to know.
The clearest leader seems to be D8’s Scott Wiener, leading with 41% to Rafael Mandelman’s 36%. But, and I can’t say this enough, with ranked choice voting, it’s not over until it’s over.

Not only does ranked choice voting means that it’s hard to see a clear winner in many races, but close results in several races still make some districts anyone’s game. In D2, for example, Janet Reilly’s pulled ahead of Mark Farrell again, but by only 101 votes. Will it last?
D10 is also super-tight, with the top 4 contenders separated by less than 100 votes.
Jane Kim continues to lead in D6, with 31% of the vote, and Scott Wiener’s got 44% of the D8 vote, putting him on top for now.
