Did Atlanta mayor [Kasim Reed] really fly the Giants flag over Atlanta’s City Hall, as he promised? If so, anyone have photos?

Mayor Reed held true to his word: This Ask the Appeal EXCLUSIVE brings you the breaking news (sorry, I’ve just always wanted to say that and no one else has posted pics yet!) that the Giants flag went up at about 11 a.m. EST on Friday, Oct 22nd and came down this morning.

After calling Atlanta’s City Hall and speaking to a few very nice women (all of whom congratulated me on the Giants win), their Director of Communications emailed me this photo with the words, “Attached please find a picture of Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed hoisting the San Francisco Giants flag over City Hall.”

I find this hilarious as you can barely tell it’s a Giants flag in the picture, much less that Reed is hosting it!

But, I mean, the whole thing is pretty embarrassing for them so maybe we should just let it slide. Go Giants!
