Want to feel safe today? Head to SoMa!

As Chris told you last night, Gavin’s taking Russian president Dmitry Medvedev on a date to Twitter’s corporate offices at 795 Folsom today, and apparently they’re ready for him.

Appeal contrib Becca Hirschman sends in these photos, saying “SoMa is well guarded for a few hours. The Secret Service and the Bomb Squad are at Twitter in advance of the Russian visit… Mabini, Lapu Lapu, and Subway have never felt safer.”

Any of you SoMa folks see anything interesting thereabouts? Let us know!
