david_mark_clark.jpgDavid Mark Clark, the 39-year-old “avid bicyclist” (among other things) accused of running down four cyclists two weeks ago today, is expected in court Thursday morning at 9 AM, to be arraigned in “four counts of attempted murder, four counts of assault with a deadly weapon (to wit: a car), and three counts of battery causing serious bodily injury,” a spokesperson from the DA’s office said today.

The tennis pro‘s arraignment was initially scheduled for June 8, but was postponed at the request of his defense counsel, something that’s “not unusual” said DA’s office spokesperson Erica Derryck.

The district attorney’s office initially sought to set Clark’s bail at $4 million. Instead, the judge ordered Clark to be held without bail. According to sheriff’s department spokeswoman Eileen Hirst, Clark has been held under observation at the county jail’s psychiatric unit since his arrest on June 4.
