Do you think Proposition 16 is a trojan horse? Do you think Proposition 17 – the auto insurance one – might actually change life as we know it, for good or ill? Irrespective of where you stand, your votes are due at a designated polling place or the Department of Elections itself, located on the ground floor of City Hall, by 8pm tomorrow, no exceptions. Those still attempting to mail them in must hope and pray they reach their destination by 8pm, June 8th, because the date of the postmark is immaterial.
As it has done in years past, the United States Postal Service will expedite the delivery of mail-in ballots to Department of Elections representatives by bringing them to the Evans Street Post Office where said representatives will be present.
