The Beths ventured all the way to the goddamn Cow Palace to bring you the Dickens Fair and I have to admit, it was fun.
Please note the gentleman who adjusted the Newsie cap on my head. He just came out of nowhere, dove right in and started touching my head.
Okay, I figured. I can go with this.
On and on he goes, putting wacky hats on my head. Ladies hats, Newsie hats, Santa hats…and the whole time he maintains his Ye Olde Hat Shoppe character. When we’d finally managed to excuse ourselves and thank him, Ye Olde Hat Shoppe character relaxes his shoulders, leans in and in full 21st Century dialect goes, “So, what’s this for? Some kinda student video?”
