SF MTA spokesperson Kristin Holland just let the media know that both directions of the N Judah were disrupted as of 2:30 by a mechanical problem at 9th and Irving. Shuttle buses are doing their shuttle thing from Carl Street and Hillway Avenue to Judah Street and 19th Avenue.
The Appeal’s own Megan Allison, a witness to the scene, says part of the problem might be a “three-car (??) N-Judah out of service…just sitting on 9th & Irving, hasn’t moved for several minutes, says no passengers.”
A tipster tells us that “one train sorta died, and then they sent out the wrong kind of truck to move it hence the delays.”
