From fellow bus riders and clues (including very, very cryptic 8 1/2 x 11 signs posted on telephone polls about four months ago and the removal of bus shelters along Hayes), I get the feeling that some 21-Hayes stops are being removed or moved (in addition to the semi-publicized change of the final outbound stop now being Stanyan instead of 6th Ave.). The tough thing is I can’t find any actual real, tangible information on this. Even the details on SFMTA’s website seen shady. How do I get the full picture of changes to my morning and evening commute?

According to the SFMTA’s website, “The segment of the 21 Hayes between 6th Avenue and Stanyan Street will be eliminated. The last bus to Downtown will depart at 11:50 p.m. and the last bus from Downtown will depart at 12:30 a.m.” Somewhat helpfully, the site also notes that “Muni’s 5 Fulton provides similar service.”
