How Was Your Commute?
Even those of us who don't use the Bridge were inconvenienced this morning: Our own Beth Spotswood took the picture above on her commute...

I am so not sympathetic to traffic complaints from drivers of single-passenger vehicles. Oh, you mean you were forced to spend a few extra minutes sitting in a comfortable chair in a private environment with plenty of space and legroom where you can recline and listen to whatever you want? How dreadful.

Commute, hmm... Bike lanes were pretty clear! Oh, are the drivers having some sort of issue? :-P

A ton of people who usually drive into the city were on BART this morning, packing my usually comfortable and quiet 6:45am train. They tend to be rude/dumb, not knowing how to board and exit trains, where to stand and how to hold on so they don't fall over. They also seem to move at a much slower pace as far as getting off the train before the doors close. Gathering their belongings and plodding to the door. Do they think it's a plane? Join the commute people! And don't stop at the top of the escalator to look around and get your bearings - there are people pouring off behind you that cannot stop.

I telecommute 100% of the time ever since the webdev firm I work for went virtual in January, so I was not affected. I was planning to use the bridge this coming Saturday though...
