Well, it sure sounds as if the bike rider ran his stop sign, since he hit the side of the damn train. That says to me that he was just a leetle beet out of control.
The streetcar would have stopped at Arch to pick up or unload any passengers, so there's a good chance that for once, it's not Muni's fault! (Of course, the bike rider's lawyer may still collect something from the City, now that there's an insurance company involved.)
