UPDATE: Hey! Appeal contributor Bryan Sebastian Kiechle braved the mob to create the above gallery (and this one), barely escaping with his life. He’s been acting funny and is favoring his arm (he says his dog bit him, we’re skeptical), so we’re keeping a close eye on him for now. We’ll keep you posted.

In a move sure to delight an increasingly funless Parks and Rec department, today’s Zombie Swarm should take nothing but chomps, and leave behind nothing but entrails. It all starts at 4 this afternoon at Market between 4th and 5th, and ends up at Main and Market. After party’s across the Bay at Oakland’s Sunshine Biscuit Factory.

*Remember when the Chronicle celebrated flash mobs? Sigh. We miss Neva.
