Local Bands Have A Little More Time To Vie For $25K Prize

Happy Holidays San Francisco musicians, one and all. If you are a rock, pop or urban band / musician - a  prize awaits you in 2010.


Some of the country's best music is here in San Francisco. Win this prize and prove me right.

Of course, the challenge starts with a contest.

First, a disclaimer: I'm part of the prize. My pop always said it, but now I know it's true. I'm a prize, as part of a much larger array of valuable winnings.

The contest is called Artists On The Verge, and the winner gets $25,000 in targeted promotion, gear, publicity, education, equipment, mentoring, advice, cds & vinyl, and assistance. The deadline is now, but we're pushing it a wee bit so move as fast as you can, just do it now.

This contest is for Rock & Pop, and Urban genres - and all the sub-genres, which are listed on the Our Stage Artists On The Verge contest FAQ.

There are entry rules, and you need to act fast - as in: register your band to win now. Before Christmas.

(But your band is amazing and you have your music ready to upload, so that shouldn't be a problem for you.)
