Whether you call it NoPa or Western Addition or Alamo Square or you’re Craigslist and you split it up into two sections just to make it harder to find free stuff on the street corners, the Divisadero Corridor has been through a bit of a renaissance over the past few years. The new pavement and fresh trees certainly don’t hurt the neighborhood’s cause, but I reckon the drink and food specials at these every-3rd-month Art Walk events are a much bigger draw.

What: Divisadero Art Walk

When: Thursday, December 3rd, 5 p.m. until last call (depending on the establishment)

Where: Divisidero Corridor (from Geary to Haight)

Cost: Free to stroll, check the official flyer for individual deals.

Boutiques like Swankety Swank and Nooworks will be open late and offering 10% off the entire store. Eateries will be serving up generous deals like $1 Oysters at Bar Crudo and 50% off your pie at Little Star or your Burger at Acme Burgerhaus. While neighborhood watering holes like Mini Bar, The Page, and Madrone are extending their happy hours to ensure you’ll need that extra cup of coffee on Friday morning.

With 37 businesses offering specials, you’re going to need a plan of attack. My recommendation: Pop in to Verde Floral Design early for $2 Mistletoe (most adorable special ever), and tie it up in a strategic location. Once you and your date are all drunk on oysters and sangria and tired of trying to sound intellectual at one of the many art openings, take a stroll under the holiday lights and commence your sidewalk makeout session.
