You like sweet stuff. You like to help kids stay in school and realize their dreams. And you have nothing to do tonight.

Head on over to 111 Minna for Spark’s third annual Sugar Rush fundraiser. It’s a dessert-tasting benefiting Spark, an organization that matches Bay Area 7th and 8th graders with apprenticeships where they can work with a mentor in their field of interest. Per their press notes, “the Spark experience creates a sense of relevance for students, and inspires students to envision their futures and develop the skills and confidence necessary to be successful in life.”

Now that you feel like a happy philanthropist, this’ll make you feel like a happy foodie: you’re welcome to go back for seconds, third, or fourths — the desserts are coming from some of the best restaurants in the city, including Boulevard, Chez Panisse, Michael Mina, Range, Humphry Slocombe, Recchiuti Confections and Sibby’s Cupcakery. There’ll also be a silent auction featuring round-trip airfare on Jet Blue.

Where: 111 Minna Gallery (111 Minna, San Francisco)
When: Thursday, November 12, 7 – 9 p.m.
