Today is “officially” the beginning of the fall TV season because the big three networks are starting to unroll their premieres. There are a ton tonight, so let’s make this as painless as possible.

CBS:
“How I Met Your Mother” at 8 P.M.: A very funny show, and the best sitcom CBS has to offer.

“Accidentally On Purpose” at 8:30 P.M.: Jenna Elfman as an unwed woman who accidentally gets pregnant and decides to keep the baby. Watch a Jenna Elfman sitcom? I’d rather stick needles in my eyes.

“Two and a Half Men” at 9 P.M.: Never. Ever. Never ever.

“The Big Bang Theory” at 9 :30 P.M. Sometimes.

“CSI: Miami” at 10 P.M.: Are you kidding?

ABC:
“Dancing with the Stars” at 8 P.M.: Kathy Ireland, Macy Gray, Mya, Melissa Joan Hart, Ashley Hamilton, Michael Irvin, Mark Dacascos, Donny Osmond, Kelly Osbourne, Debi Mazar, Chuck Liddell, Natalie Coughlin, Joanna Krupa, Aaron Carter, Louie Vito and Tom DeLay.

“Castle” at 10 P.M.: If you’re a fan of Nathan Fillion, you’re already watching this show. If you aren’t, there’s no reason to start.

Fox:
“House” at 8 P.M.: I don’t watch it….And now I better end this so all the “House” fans can rag on my ass for not thinking Hugh Laurie is teh awesome.

Rain Jokinen watches a lot of television and movies and then writes things about them on the Internet. She's a San Francisco native, and yeah, she'll rub that fact in your face any chance she gets.
