See Spot Write: The Squeaky Inmate Gets...Out?
I've been wondering the best way to observe the 40th Anniversary of the Manson Family's Tate-Labianca murders this weekend, but the feds are already...

If you fix her up with Gavin, I'll bet she forgives you.

Fromme is not the looniest of the Manson family.
That honor would go to Susan Atkins.

Oh dear, I don't have an armoire... what will I barricade my door with? I wonder if I'll recognize her on Haight Street.

I'm with you Beth, Squeaky is much scarier now than the others that are still in prison. Another scary one is the woman pictured next to her in the photo with your article, whose name I can't remember, but I've seen her in interviews filmed as late as the early 90s with her crazy eyes still talking about how Manson is a prophet and the murders were acts of love and blah blah blah.
I'm also obsessed with true crime including the Manson family and have been reading every nutty and sane website and blogpost I can find on it for the last week. John Waters has been writing about Van Houten on HuffPo and it's fascinating.

Please let me preface this statement.
I am in no way a supporter or fan of Charlie or his family of followers.
I'm merely a researcher. One of many.
I enjoyed your article. Especially the tongue & cheek bits,
Holly, you're right I'd be more scared of Sandy (Sandra Collins Good aka Blue) back in the day. Rumor has it she's moved on from Charlie and his beliefs.
As for Lyn, I can't say where she stands as far as Manson is concerned, but I really don't see her as dangerous.
There have been far more dangerous & crazy people paroled. I'm not saying let the crazy and dangerous out. I firmly believe they should stay locked up. One example off the top of my head, Dan White, who killed Harvey Milk only served a few years.
In comparison to many criminals, Lyn isn't that scary. She never killed anyone. She didn't even pull the trigger. They found the bullet she intentionally removed in her apartment's bathroom.
Even in the category of Gerald Ford's attempted assassins, Sara Moore was way more whacked. She seems to have mellowed now as well. (She was released this past January and she fired at Ford.)
Don't hurt your back creating a blockade, you have nothing to worry about with Squeaky.
FYI: -Lyn never lived in Stockton. Wiki is very wrong once again.
She was living in San Fran & visiting Stockton when she was arrested for Lauren Willett's murder. Upon her release, once the charges were dropped, she moved to Sacramento to be near Charlie.
-Charlie was not a member of the AB.
They didn't want him.
There was a very loose alliance.
The girls sent pics, wrote letters & hooked up with the AB guys.
Best regards,
Flora
