People tell me I'm missing out because I don't spend time in the East Bay. I don't have a car so could only go places near the BART. Am I missing out?

I'm sure we probably are missing out. I even lived over there during college, not that I remember much of it. But one fact comes to mind whenever I'm about to pay the fare to take the BART east and it's that "east bay" is pig-Latin for beast, which means the East Bay is kinda named Satan. Makes ya think.
