I am a media and communications consultant whose clients include the San Francisco political consulting firm Barnes Mosher Whitehurst Lauter and Partners. In February 2008, I ended a 20-year print newspaper career during which I worked as a City Hall beat writer, investigative reporter and City Editor for the Hearst Corporation’s San Francisco Examiner and San Francisco Chronicle. Previously, I wrote cover stories and a political column for San Francisco Weekly, and covered legal affairs, the courts and U.S. Justice Department for Legal Times in Washington, D.C., and the San Francisco Daily Journal.
