shooting_nighttime.jpgSan Francisco police are asking witnesses to a fatal shooting outside a Mission Bay dance club early Sunday morning to come forward with information.

The victim was identified by the medical examiner’s office today as 39-year-old Lee Farley, of Richmond. No arrests have been made in the case.

“There were multiple witnesses, but nobody has come forward,” police spokeswoman Lt. Lyn Tomioka said today.

Police said Farley was gunned down by another man outside Jelly’s, a restaurant and dance cafe on Pier 50 at 295 Terry A. Francois Boulevard, at about 1:40 a.m.

The two men had argued inside the club and took the argument outside, where Farley was shot once in the chest, police said. The suspect then fled.

Farley died later that morning at San Francisco General Hospital.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact police via the anonymous tip line at (415) 575-444 or by texting TIP411.
