A man was shot by his friend in San Francisco’s Bayview District late Saturday night, hours before gunfire erupted outside a Mission Bay dance cafe in a second, unrelated shooting, police said.
The 49-year-old victim apparently had been arguing with his friend at about 11:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Revere Avenue when his friend turned on him and shot him in the leg, a police dispatcher said.
The wounded man made his way to San Francisco General Hospital on his own, and police said his injuries are believed to be minor.
Police said they have not apprehended the 38-year-old suspect.
