Section Of Lincoln Boulevard Closing On Wednesday For Next 18 Months
A portion of Lincoln Boulevard in front of the Presidio National Cemetery in San Francisco will close for a year and a half beginning Wednesday as part of the Doyle Drive replacement project south of the Golden Gate Bridge.
The closure will make way for the construction of a new southbound tunnel lowering the roadway and increasing park space.
Lincoln Boulevard between McDowell Avenue and Montgomery Street will be closed for about 18 months until late 2011.
