I know, I know, Blue Bottle rules, Starbucks drools, etc.

But according to a press release they sent out earlier this week, on Wednesday April 14 (I originally had “Wednesday” here, then a commenter noted that the 15th is a Thursday, so I changed it and called their PR agency, who said “yes, Thursday,” then someone else emailed me and I called Starbucks directly, who said no it’s Wednesday, GOD what a pain I am going to drink my own weight in coffee tomorrow I am serious), if you bring your own “reusable tumbler” (a mug, not a misspelling of the blog platform) into any Starbucks, you’ll get a free “brewed coffee.”

In the release, which is all we have to go off of, no limits or other fine printery is specified, and it’s not like it’s IMPOSSIBLE to find more than one Starbucks around here. You could conceivable go into different ones all day! So glug glug, Mr. Jitters.

You know I’m always ambivalent about barfing back press releases, like, buy an ad, jerks. When it comes to making sure y’all get free stuff, though, I’m willing to forgo my crankiness to ensure you can cash in.

And I won’t lie — I’m SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING parking myself at a Starbucks with my tragic little “Windows Vista” travel mug all day long just to see what happens. We should meet up!

Figure out where to go to do the same with their store locator, here.
