Authorities are still trying to identify a female body found in a burned car in San Francisco's Bayview District early Saturday morning.
San Francisco fire crews responded to reports of a vehicle fire in the 1200 block of Van Dyke Avenue at Ingalls Street at about 1:20 a.m., Officer Boaz Mariles said.
The body was discovered inside the car. The cause of the victim's death is still under investigation, according to the medical examiner's office.
