We’re approaching the end of Muni Service Slash Week 1. And though fucked up Muni shit did indeed go down, it wasn’t fucked up shit that had a direct relation to the massive service cuts that started last Saturday.

That said, Rescue Muni still wants to know how your commute’s weathered the storm. They have a survey here that was actually pretty fun to take!

In other Service Slash news, on Monday, Appeal Twitter follower Michael Shields @ed us with this question

“But this is the third day with old maps posted at Muni shelters. Any word on that?”

We emailed MTA spokesperson Judson True, and relayed his response back to Michael:

“MTA spokesperson Judson True tells us ‘Installation of the new maps is beginning and will be completed in about 3 weeks'”

If we had been smart, like Examiner reporter Will Reisman, we would have asked True the price point on ye old shelter map swap. According to his report replacement of the 1,070 transit maps posted to shelters system-wide: $9,200.
